Oddworld Inhabitants, the masterminds behind Abe's Oddysee (and most recently Stranger's Wrath) have announced that they have found a new president for their company in the form of Larry Shapiro. Shapiro is a former employee of Brash, another games company which specialize in movie tie-ins, their upcoming project being a game based on the Saw franchise.
Originally, Lorne Lanning was president of Oddworld, but his hiring of Shapiro means that he'll now be taking a backseat role to focus on creativity, which appears to be Lanning's strong point. With the Citizen Seige movie project canned due to creative differences, Oddworld are returning to familiar ground again by focusing on the Oddworld series. Having fallen on bad luck a few times too many, hopefully we'll see Shapiro turn the company around and restore it to it's former glory.
