LINE brings Universal app to Windows 10 Mobile following PC debut

Popular voice, video and instant messaging service, LINE, released its Universal app to Windows 10 PCs not too long ago, and now it has updated the app to add support for Windows 10 Mobile.

LINE offers free voice and video calling so that you're not having to use your text, minutes and data allowances with your mobile carrier. For example, if you're on WiFi or a Hotspot, contacting someone won't cost you a penny.

The latest version of the app, v5.0, brings Windows 10 Mobile support, along with numerous improvements to the app's stability and performance, meaning that you should see fewer crashes and more conversation.

Features

As it is a Universal Windows App, it brings across all the same features that are available on the PC version to your Windows 10 Mobile device. Key features include:

  • High-quality voice and video calling
  • Instant messaging
  • Timeline - share text, photos and videos with your friends
  • Stickers

You can grab the app from the Windows Store, or take a look at the screenshots in the gallery below to get a feel for the app beforehand.
