Messenger Plus 1.42a

This morning I was greeted with a "Do you want to upgrade Messenger Plus" dialog upon signing into Messenger. Of course I upgraded and hereby notify those that either have that option switched off or do not yet know of its existence!

This software is designed to add functionalities to the Instant Chat program from Microsoft called Windows Messenger (also known as MSN Messenger). This program is absolutely free to use so give it a try!

Changelog Version 1.42a - 26/03/2002

  • Still no real upgrade. This version is really important for the future so please, tell everyone you know to upgrade to it. I've decreased the size of the setup package a lot so you don't have any excuses!

  • I promise I'll upgrade this software asap. I'm still working on ActivePlus (code name for a new Messenger plugin that will be available very soon).

  • Little corrections in the Preferences panel

  • I've added the "Force Load" option in the advanced preferences window. By default, it's off. If it's on, Messenger Plus! will react as in the previous versions to maximize its chances to load correctly when your computer starts. This option has been added to prevent compatibility problems with some other softwares.

  • Important: You need this version if you want to be able to user my future new software for Messenger!
