Microsoft 365 outage hits as Teams, Outlook, Office go down "for some" [Update]

Microsoft has confirmed that certain M365 services have gone down as they has been hit by an outage. The company is investigating and has released some preliminary details.

Microsoft has confirmed that some of the Microsoft 365 services are currently down again. The company confirmed this via its official Microsoft 365 Status X handle as it notes that the Office.com portal and some of its related services are inaccessible at the moment. The tech giant has informed that you can get status updates regarding the progress of the bug on the Microsoft 365 Admin Center portal with issue ID "MO1245624" so details regarding the outage will be shared there.

The official Microsoft 365 Service Health Status website currently lists that there is an issue with only some admins in the North America region:

"User impact: Admins in the North America region may be unable to access the Microsoft 365 admin center.

Current status: We're reviewing service monitoring telemetry to isolate the root cause and develop a remediation plan.

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some admins located in the North America region attempting to access the admin center."

Update, March 7 2025, 4.30 GMT: Microsoft has confirmed it managed to fix the issues. The following updates were provided since the initial report stating that the CDN or Content Delivery Network was affected:
