Microsoft announces Halo Infinite, heading to Xbox One and Windows 10

Microsoft kicked off its E3 conference today with a brand new Halo game announcement, and just as all Xbox exclusives nowadays, the game is also coming to Windows 10. Titled Halo Infinite, its new in-engine reveal trailer is seen above.

On stage, Phil Spencer said the game will see players joining Master Chief "on his greatest adventure yet to save humanity." The title is being made on a new engine named SlipSpace, which seems to be custom built for the new title, as its name is what the Halo universe occupants use for faster-than-light travel.

No details on the game's genre or what sort of gameplay we can expect have been announced just yet.
