Microsoft announces its custom Gears 5 Xbox One X console and accessories

Microsoft today announced all of its custom Gears 5 products, including an Xbox One X and various peripherals like a controller, a keyboard, and more. There are also regular bundles.

The public launch of Gears 5 is right around the corner, which means that Microsoft will be releasing all kinds of custom merchandise.

Yes, that includes a custom Gears 5 Xbox One X console, which is a limited edition bundle that includes Gears 5 Ultimate Edition, along with Gears of War Ultimate Edition, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3, and Gears of War 4. Microsoft also noted that Gears of War 4 and Gears 5 are both Xbox Play Anywhere, meaning that you can play them on your PC as well.

The bundle also comes with a Gears 5 Kait Diaz Limited Edition Xbox Wireless Controller. a month of Xbox Game Pass, and a month of Xbox Live Gold. While the custom Xbox One X bundle costs $499, there's also a regular Xbox One X bundle, which also costs $499. If the Xbox One S is more your style, you can get that bundle for $299. They all include the same games, but you'll get a regular Xbox Wireless Controller. They'll be available on September 6.

You can purchase the Kait Diaz Limited Edition Xbox Wireless Controller separately though, for $74.99. The controller will be available on August 20. But that's not all, because Microsoft is also selling a Gears 5 Edition wireless headset made by Razer, along with a mouse and keyboard. The mouse and keyboard set will be $299, and there's no price on the headset; both are coming in September. And finally, Seagate is selling a custom Game Drive for Xbox Gears 5 Edition, which is a 2TB USB 3.0 external hard drive, although there will be a 5TB version available from GameStop.
