Microsoft cuts 29% off ASUS Transformer Mini with Windows Hello, keyboard and pen; now $249

The Transformer Mini is a 10.1-inch tablet that weighs just 790g with the included keyboard. It also comes with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, and a pen, and supports Windows Hello biometric authentication.

Back in May, alongside higher-end Windows 10 devices, ASUS unveiled the Transformer Mini, a low-cost tablet with a detachable keyboard, stylus support, and some pretty decent specs for its rather affordable price. The Mini went on sale towards the end of last year, priced from $349 for the 64GB model - but it's now available for a good deal less.

From today, until March 28, the Microsoft Store has slashed $100 (29%) off the Transformer Mini T102HA-C4-GR, the silver 64GB model of the device. That brings its price down to just $249, which includes both the detachable keyboard, and the pen.

The device features a Surface-style rear kickstand, as well as a fingerprint sensor supporting Windows Hello biometric authentication, and its other key specs include:

  • 10.1-inch LED-backlit touchscreen with 1280x800px resolution
  • 1.44GHz Intel Atom x5-Z8350 processor
  • 4GB RAM
  • 64GB eMMC storage (plus microSD card slot)
