Microsoft posts outtakes from new Surface commercial with Russell Wilson

We have been seeing Microsoft's latest commercial running a lot on U.S. TV networks in the past few days and we suspect the reason is that Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is the star of the ad. Now Microsoft has used Vine to post up a couple of quick outtakes from that commercial shoot.

One clip has Wilson telling the cameraman how he "honestly" feels, and it has nothing to do with the Surface Pro 2 tablet he's trying to promote. He also does some quick posing while sitting in his barber chair.

The other outtake shows that one of the barbers wants to get in on the action, telling Wilson how good he really looks after his new haircut and suggesting that next time Wilson should try someone else when his hair needs some style.

In related news, Microsoft just gave its official Surface blog its own haircut, or a new design if you want to get technical. The revamped page looks a lot more professional than the rather bare bones blog that the Surface team has been using. We wonder if this change has anything to do with something that might be announced in less than two weeks. Hmmmm.
