Microsoft pulls one September update, déjà vu all over again

On Tuesday, Microsoft released KB2889866, an update for OneDrive, but the company has already pulled the update for unspecified reasoning. This update was supposed to fix problems with OneDrive for Business, specifically the syncing of new libraries.

Microsoft has pulled this patch from Windows Update and its support website but why, is not exactly known. Here is what Microsoft has to say about the patch:

We are investigating an issue that is affecting the September 2014 update for Microsoft OneDrive for Business. Therefore, we have removed the update from availability for now. We apologize for any inconvenience that this might cause.

If this all sounds familiar, it's because in August, Microsoft had to pull patches from its website after they were casing some PCs to BSOD. While we do not believe that this update was causing as serious of an issue, it's still another patch that was released and then pulled immediately after negative feedback.

Once Microsoft provides more feedback about why the patch was pulled, we will update this post.
