Microsoft SQL Server Yukon Nearing Beta Phase

Thanks Scoop for this...Soon to be testers of Microsoft's new SQL Server (code named Yukon) recieved further details on the beta program today.

In an Email from Michael O'Connor (Program Manager - SQL Server), Michael outlined that "action starts in mid-July". He also announced companies will be able to add employees to the beta program but the employees won't be able to recieve additional CDs. SQL Server Yukon is now live on Betaplace.com and Microsoft are currently setting up newsgroup access for testers.

The mid-july date signals Microsoft is still on target for this beta program which is expected to be a huge part of the Professional Developers Conference (PDC) later this year.
