Microsoft teases Windows 10 build 9860 before release

Microsoft has posted a teaser on Twitter that shows the build number for the upcoming technical preview release of Windows 10. As we exclusively reported, the build will be 9860, and it looks like it may arrive as soon as today.

The information came from Gabriel Aul, who is running the Windows Insider program and while he isn't saying when the build will go out, we know that its arrival is more or less imminent.

If you want to see what is new in this build, make sure to check out our posts about the new features that will likely ship with this it. It is worth noting that these features showed up in a build post 9860, but they very well may be included in the upcoming release.

Even though there is not much to be seen in the screenshot, you can see the notification center showing up in the system tray.

We will keep you posted if and when Microsoft releases this new build for download.
