Microsoft's media campaign continues with cloud powered, cancer research advert

Microsoft showed off a new advertisement tonight during ABC World News and this time around, the company is focusing on its cloud and how it is helping with cancer research.

During the Super Bowl, Microsoft started its media campaign that included two commercials featuring the tagline, "Empowering You". In its latest advertisement that focuses on cancer research and its cloud computing platform, Azure, the tagline is "Empowering Business".

The commercial, which features narration by artist Common, strikes a balance between showing how the company's assets are driving forward research, while also sending the message that its platforms are capable of handling any type of task.

The advertisement is exactly 30 seconds, which differs slightly from those shown during the Super Bowl that were each one minute in length.

You can check out the clip at the top of this post and seeing that this advertisement is similar in style and message as those run during the Super Bowl, we expect Microsoft will continue to push this message with more advertisements in the future.
