Minecraft has announced its Black Block Friday sales with 30% off in-game items. Players will be able to visit the game’s official marketplace in order to acquire skin packs, texture packs, maps, mini-games and more using Minecoins. The sale has already begun and will run through to Monday.

Discussing the requirements, Microsoft said the discounts are available for players on Xbox One, Windows 10, iOS, Android and Nintendo Switch. It also said:

“They must also use a copy of Minecraft that can access Minecraft Marketplace, where professional “content creators” selected by Microsoft sell the content they create for the game.”

Aside from a 30% discount on items, there will also be two showcase items which will have even higher discounts that players can take advantage of. Additionally, if you don’t even own the game yet, you can buy the Minecraft Block Friday Xbox One Bundle with 64% off the RRP. It includes the game, the Festive Mash-Up Pack, the Town Folk Skin Pack, and 310 Minecoins.

If you’re still without an Xbox One, it is currently selling the Xbox One S 1TB Console – Minecraft Creators Bundle with a $100 discount, bringing the price down to $199 from $299. For other Black Friday deals, be sure to check out Neowin’s deals bumper list.
