Thanks Signum and many others who posted on the forum. mIRC is a highly configurable IRC client. It offers full color text lines, DCC File Send and Get capabilities, programmable aliases, a remote commands and events handler, place sensitive popup menus, a great Switchbar, World Wide Web and sound support, and a lot more.
What's new in 6.03:
- Several fixed bugs
- Supports several IRCX events on any server that sends them, not just for IRCX servers
- Improved the way mIRC determines what default web browser to use
- Rewrote the mark/copy routine
- Added a $nick().idle property that returns the idle time for a person on a channel
