We caught up with ActiveWins CEO Bob Stein and fired a few questions at him for your reading pleasure.

Q: When did Activewin launch, what was the focus back then and was it with this name?
Our first site was ActiveIE, which launched in late 1997. This site focused on Internet Explorer, Active Desktop (with desktop components), etc. This site transitioned to ActiveWin.com which debuted in mid 1998. We also have Anetforums.com and ActiveXbox.com.
