Nintendo unveils new option that will let users customize their Joy-Con and Joy-Con straps

Although it has been several months since the release of the Nintendo Switch, store shelves still can't keep the console stocked. While the firm works hard to churn out more units, it appears that it will offer those in Japan a new buying option.

A newly launched webpage will give customers the ability to order their Switch console, games, and accessories, along with the ability to choose a custom color combination of the Joy-Con and Joy-Con straps. The ability to choose colors won't allow those purchasing to choose their own custom color, but it will allow users to mix and match between colors that have already been released. This means that if you want a double blue or double red Joy-Con set, you can do that. Along with choosing the color of your Joy-Con, you'll also be able to choose the color of the Joy-Con straps. This could make for some very interesting color sets.

Unfortunately, this is currently only available to those in Japan, but hopefully Nintendo will roll it out to other countries. For those that are interested, the pre-orders will go live starting on August 22 via the webpage and delivery of ordered units is expected to happen in October.
