Nvidia Announces Dual-Analog TV Tuner

Nvidia has announced the availability of its much anticipated DualTV MCE tuner card. The card is available from the Nvidia Store Website.

Until now, MCE users have been stuck with only one noteworthy Dual-Tunercard, the Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-500 MCE. Nvidia's new DualTV MCE tuner offers a host of new features, including MediaSqueeze technology; this allows the DualTV MCE to record TV at a lower bit-rate without significant loss in picture quality.

The Nvidia DualTV MCE tuner also includes PureVideo technology. Coupled with a Geforce 6 and 7 series video card this tuner should offer a superb media experience. It also offers support for Nvidia's unified driver architecture (ForceWare) so there is no need to download additional drivers.

Since it's competitively priced at just $169.00 this card is definitely worth a shot. Keep an eye out for reviews.
