Office 15 installation and Word shown off on video

Microsoft Office is a staple product for the company as it is used by millions around the world. It was not long ago that new images of Office 15 leaked out from build 15.0.2703.1000. While the images do not show many major changes, there are small updates that are noticeable in this early build.

Building upon that leak, there is a new video that has been created by Winbeta.it that shows off the installation and Word for Office 15. The thing to notice from the leak is the speed at which Office installs. The speed of installation appears to improved over Office 2010, but at this time, there are no hard numbers to base this information on as we do not know the hardware used in this video.

The updates are subtle at this point, but it is not expected that Office 15 will be a major overhaul. As Microsoft continues to move forward with Office 15, new features will be built into the upcoming platform.

The video also briefly shows off Word where we can see the new Metro design language during the brief use after installation. The platform is expected to be released during 2012, but at this point, nothing has been confirmed.
