The next phone from OnePlus is coming. Earlier today, CEO Pete Lau confirmed such through his own Twitter account, touting that the nest device from the company will be "fast and smooth". While the phrase could mean any number of things, the company has prided itself in the past by giving users an optimized Android experience through its own OxygenOS.

While having fast and smooth software is a huge plus, making use of improved hardware to further this sensation is even better. According to Android Central, the upcoming top-tier offering from OnePlus, known as the OnePlus 7 Pro, will offer a Quad HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Upping the refresh rate for the display should fuel the user's sensation when it comes to "fast and smooth", as most phones on the market right now only offer a 60Hz refresh rate. Of course, there are a couple of exceptions like the Razer Phone and Razer Phone 2, which offer a 120Hz refresh rate.

The phone will also have a large 4,000mAh battery capable of accepting a Warp Charge at 30W. The device will also make use of dual speakers for stereo sound and will have three cameras on the rear. Although Lau did tweet about the upcoming phone, he did not offer a reveal date, but speculation has it coming sometime in May.
