Pebble stops being "square" with 'Pebble Time Round'

It was in late February that Pebble unveiled its new smartwatch, the Pebble Time. Compared to the original Pebble, it offered a sleeker design, new interface and color e-ink display. Well, it looks like Pebble is back, with the 'Pebbe Time Round'.

As you can see from the image above, the 'Round' is a sleek, thin (7.5mm chassis) and light (28 grams) watch that looks like a traditional timepiece. The Round will be available in a variety of colors and will support a 14mm and 20mm strap size. Although the new Pebble timepiece looks impressive, it does come at a cost. While the original Pebble and Pebble Time offered a unprecedented 5 days of battery life, the Round will only be able to deliver 2 days. Although this is still better than most wearables available, it may become an issue for seasoned Pebble users.

The Pebble Time Round will be available directly from Pebble's own website and will start at $249 USD. The watch will starting shipping globally in November.
