Poppins is a clever and elegant solution for phones without a headphone jack

In 2017, there are plenty of top-tier handsets that don't offer a 3.5mm headphone jack and this is a problem. Luckily, Poppins aims to try and remedy this issue with a cheap and effective solution.

As smartphones become more advanced and designs become sleeker, many manufacturers are opting to omit the 3.5mm headphone jack. While there is debate as to whether this is a necessary step, Gooseberry has introduced a possible solution in the form of its Poppins Bluetooth device.

Poppins is a stylish Bluetooth module that allows you to make any pair of headphones or earphones wireless. You'll get about seven hours of battery life on a single charge and the device does offer support to pick up and hang up calls, launch compatible digital assistants like Siri or Google Assistant, and control music. Perhaps best of all, the Poppins is priced starting at $19, which is quite a bargain.

However, this is an Indiegogo campaign, meaning that if you are backing the project, things might not always go as planned. As of this writing, the campaign has been fully funded (by 127%), which means that if all goes to plan, you should receive your product by February 2018.
