PowerColor unleashes the Radeon RX 6900 XT Red Devil

While AMDs 6000 series GPUs continue to be elusive, AIB partners have already started manufacturing beastly models with great potential.

AMD-exclusive vendor PowerColor is releasing the Radeon RX 6900 XT Red Devil air cooled variant. The Devil is the flagship brand of Powercolor with the premium products being released under this moniker. It remains to be seen if the vendor releases its Liquid Devil edition sometime in the future.

The Red Devil is a triple-slot card and comes with a (14+2) phase VRM design that should allow plenty of juice for overclockers. There's also dual BIOS support as is to be expected from such high-end models. With a bit of tweaking, it shouldn't be too hard to reach the 3GHz clock limit of the 6900 XT The card requires three 8-pin power connectors. Of course, there is controllable RGB lighting too.

The physical specifications of the card are:

Dimensions 320mm x 135mm x 62mm
Display Interface 1x HDMI 2.1
3x Display Port 1.4

The price of the Red Devil 6900 XT hasn't been disclosed yet but we are probably looking at more than a $1000 product here since the MSRP of the reference AMD model itself is $999. And in case you do manage to purchase one, do make sure you install the Radeon Adrenalin 20.12.1 driver which adds support for the RX 6900 XT.
