Ubisoft is celebrating 30 years of Rayman with a special release of the series' original game. Announced today as Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition during Sony's State of Play showcase, the big collection lets players jump back into the shoes of Rayman to play through multiple versions of the 1995 game. There are plenty of other goodies included in the package too.
The collection is being put together by Digital Eclipse, the same company that brought fans the Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration, and Tetris Forever.
The collection lands with the original 1995 classic Rayman game, but in MS-DOS, PlayStation, Atari Jaguar, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance forms. These versions have been enhanced with reimagined soundtracks by composer Christophe Hรฉral and over 120 more levels to play from bonus packs.
"Perform Raymanโs signature punch and helicopter hair glide through colorful worlds, from the Dream Forest and its unforgettable mosquito ride to Band Landโs musical chaos," adds Ubisoft. "Rescue the Electoons and save the world from Mr. Dark in a classic platforming adventure with a unique art style that remains as magical today as it was in the '90s."
Even a "long-lost SNES prototype" is being included for fans to see how the limbless hero's gameplay first came about.

Some gameplay enhancements and accessibility options have been confirmed too, letting players rewind the action, have multiple save slots, and enable infinite lives, invincibility, and even instantly unlock levels.
Lastly, an interactive documentary is also coming with the package containing interviews with the original Rayman developers, early concept art, sketches, and even design documents. The documentary is said to be over 50 minutes long.
Fans don't have to wait long to jump into Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition, as it's releasing tomorrow, February 13, across PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Switch.
