Samsung may hold its Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event in February

Samsung might be planning to hold its Unpacked 2022 event in February where the Korean giant is rumoured to announce the Galaxy S22 lineup.

A Samsung Electronic official told South Korea's Digital Daily:

We have confirmed that the event will be held on February 8 and we are discussing the timing of invitations to be sent out at the end of January.

According to the official, the event will take place on February 8 with pre-orders kicking off on February 9 and general sales starting on February 24. At the event, Samsung will debut the Galaxy S22 line-up which will include the S22, S22 Plus and S22 Ultra.

Samsung, on the other hand, told Digital Daily that they cannot confirm product that have not been released.

According to the latest leaks, Samsung Galaxy S22 series will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 chip with AMD's RDNA 2 based GPU, depending on the market. Along with that, the devices will feature something called "Super Clear Lens."

Furthermore, the new devices will feature up to 5,000 mAh battery, S-Pen support, faster 45W charging for Ultra model and more. The Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus will be available in Beige, Black, Green, Grey, Light Blue, Rose Gold, and White, while the S22 Ultra will be launched in Black, Dark Red, Green, and White colour.
