A couple weeks ago, we reported on the heavily discounted Gear VR that could be found on Amazon, and now it appears that the price has dropped even further, making it a truly enticing purchase for anyone with a supported Samsung device that wants to dabble in VR.
While $50 was a great price for the Gear VR, it can now be had for around $45 from Amazon. The discount is still valid only for the international version of the headset, but the term should not be cause for concern, as the headsets are not region locked. The latest Gear VR made its debut with the Galaxy Note7, but it is also compatible with Samsung handsets like the Galaxy S7, S7 edge, Note5, S6 edge+, S6 and the S6 edge.
