Japanese conglomerate Sony Interactive Entertainment launched its very own online shop to cater to its American consumer market. The digital store went live today and is available directly from PlayStation.com. It carries a wide range of PlayStation 4 consoles, accessories, video games and other miscellaneous products such as PlayStation Plus membership vouchers.
Although the current selection of products and game titles is limited, Sony plans on expanding the store's portfolio in the future. For now, the only titles available on the store are:
- Astro Bot: Rescue Mission
- Blood & Truth
- Bloodborne
- Days Gone
- God of War 3 Remastered
- Horizon Zero Dawn
- Marvel’s Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition
- MLB The Show 19
- Quantic Dream Collection
- Ratchet & Clank
- The Last of Us Remastered
- Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
It is worth noting that these games will ship out as physical discs.
To celebrate the launch, the online shop is currently having a launch promo which ends on October 31, 2019. It includes two bundles, the first is a PlayStation 4 with a one year PS Plus subscription selling for $339.99 while the second offer includes a PlayStation 4 Pro with a one year PS Plus membership for $429.99 - making it $19.99 off each package.
Additionally, PS Plus members who are logged in get to claim 1-Day Express Shipping free of charge. As previously mentioned, Sony's brand new online store is only available to U.S. customers and can be accessed from the official PlayStation website.
