Sony unveils Limited Edition 20th anniversary PlayStation 4 for $499

December 3rd marks the 20th anniversary of the original PlayStation, and to celebrate the occasion Sony have put together a limited edition PS4 using the same grey from the original and four color logo. The console also features etching of the iconic PlayStation button symbols as well as a 2 to represent 20 years. The camera, stand and DualShock controller also receive the makeover treatment in classic grey.

There will only be 12,300 of the units made available, and each console will feature the number in that range. For those lucky enough to pick one up, will have to fork out 49,980 Yen (excluding tax) in Japan, $499 in the US, and €499 in Europe. Preorders start on December 6, so you will need to keep an eye out on the Sony website.
