Spider-Man 2: New footage swings into view

The webbed wizard returns next month but you can see him in action now.

With Spider-Man 2 now little over a month away from release, we've got a brief clip of the game in action to give you a taster of what's in store from the webbed wonder. One of the problems with the game's predecessor was that it gave you a New York-sized playground to explore but ended up being very linear. Luckily, that appears to have been sorted now with random crimes and missions that you can solve between main missions. The more you solve, the higher your hero rating soars. Then you get access to new attacks and moves. It gives you a good excuse to properly explore the city, which is even bigger than before.

Spider-Man 2 is released for PS2, Xbox, Cube, PC and GBA on 9 July. An N-Gage version will follow later in the summer
