StyleBuilder Beta 2.4 out

Cheers IRazor for the heads up here, TGT Soft have released Beta 2.4 of StyleBuilder in its out going phase to smash bugs before it goes final.

  • Fixes for errors that occurred while applying.

  • It is now possible to add some properties.

  • Toolbar no longer appears black in classic mode.

    In other news, TGT Soft announced partnership with Daniel Milner from radfiles.com, maker of XP LogonUI.

    Future versions of Style XP and StyleBuilder will implement functionality that will allows user to create, manage, and share custom Logon Interfaces.

    Style XP Beta 4 and above will no longer patch the file uxtheme.dll. Instead, a small-footprint service will be installed. This service will eventually allow you to easily manage your entire XP experience (including the above-mentioned login UI).

    This means:

  • All system dlls will remain unchanged.

  • Windows file protection is not touched.

  • Restart is no longer needed.
