According to changes made to the Android's Gerrit source code management, Google's long in the works Fuchsia OS will be able to run Android apps using a specialized version of Android Runtime.

Google says it's "made all apps faster by default" with no app changes needed; and along with faster boot times, it's also improving battery life and performance by putting limits on app activities.
