There are several Linux distros that people say are good alternatives to Windows 11. This particular one, called CachyOS, just received a significant performance upgrade.

CachyOS has rolled out a new Linux 7.0 kernel, which features new and updated drivers and packages for a fast, performance-oriented system for heavy users.
CachyOS's first release of the year is out, with the Plasma Login Manager replacing SDDM in Plasma environments and Wayland replacing X11, among other changes.
CachyOS's latest update brings a new package dashboard, various bug fixes, and improvements such as the option to install NiriWM through the online installer.
