The next major update to Minecraft, Caves & Cliffs, has been split into two, with Mojang delivering the first half in the summer, while the second half will take until the holiday season to land.
During the new Minecraft Live digital event, Mojang revealed Caves and Cliffs as the next major update headed to its sandbox title. The update will carry terrain generation updates, goats, and more.
