It is being rumored that Samsung may offer its mobile payments technology, Samsung Pay, to other smartphone manufacturers in the hopes of building omnipresence and dominating the mobile phone market.
Samsung Pay has finally launched in the UK, with support for cards issued by VISA and MasterCard. Samsung has also partnered with Transport for London, making Samsung devices work like an Oyster card.
After launching in Korea and the US last year, Samsung Pay is soon to arrive in the UK and Spain supported by both NFC and MST technology for compatible handsets.
