AMD has announced the most powerful GPU it has ever created with its new Radeon PRO W6800X Duo dual-Navi chip. The card packs 120 CUs or 7,680 Stream Processors and is available for the Apple Mac Pro.
A new Chinese GPU by a firm called Biren Technology will reportedly take on Nvidia's next-gen 5nm chips. The GPU isn't gaming-focused and is made for HPC work. The expected tape out is this year.
AMD has launched its RDNA 2-based workstation GPU lineup today. The new cards are called the Radeon PRO W6000 series. In total, there are three of these; two for the desktop, and one for notebooks.
