Oculus Rift users will now be able to purchase games and apps from HTC's Viveport Store. This will give Oculus users access to more experiences that might not be available on its own platform.
Announced at CES this year, the Vive Pro will begin shipping in April. The original Vive's price has dropped a hundred bucks to $499 and will remain available to purchase for the foreseeable future.
HTC has announced that the Viveport Subscription program it launched last year will be getting a price increase in March. Existing customers will get to keep the original price until end of this year.
Starting later this week, HTC will be discounting its Viveport subscription service in celebration of Black Friday. The service offers subscribers access to more than 50 VR apps in total.
