This is how Microsoft let us know that Cortana has arrived in the US

See the box above? That's how Microsoft let us know that Cortana has arrived on retail shelves here in the US; inside is the Lumia 635 which is now on-sale.

Over the next few weeks, I am going to replace my Lumia Icon with a Lumia 635, Why? For one, with the price of entry level Lumias getting close to impulse territory and for those of you who have a phone without insurance, one small drop can send you into a retail outlet faced with paying upwards of $700 to replace your high-end smartphone. So, what if instead of opting for a high-end phone, you went for a low-end device, are they really that bad or are Microsoft's entry level phones worth a second look?

We have already fully reviewed the Lumia 630 and the 635 adds 4G to the equation. This particular phone is available at T-Mobile, MetroPCS and AT&T and will cost you $99.

Until I get done using the device in place of our Icon, take a look at the gallery below to see how Microsoft has announced the arrival of Cortana and the Lumia 635 and once we gather our thoughts, we will post them here on Neowin.
