Neversoft has now confirmed the release of a 7th game in the popular Tony Hawk's series, due for a release on PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, GameCube, DS and GBA later this year.
IGN website states that Tony Hawk's American Wasteland is set in 1980s LA. The player shall take the role of a hick skater from the Midwest, hoping to make his big-break in Hollywood. IGN also reveals some of the game's not so sophisticated plot, along with all the usual player-creation options, clothes and hairdressers stores to improve your player's appearance, as well as the stores you'll need to equip him with all the right gear and skates.
