Overview

The Content Development Kit (CDK) is designed to help content producers and developers create interactive TV content for viewing on consumer products running on the Microsoft® TV platform.

The CDK contains sample code, documentation, and guidelines that will help ensure that your content is compatible with the specification for interactive television created by the Advanced Television Enhancement Forum (ATVEF), now known as SMPTE 363M.

Note: The CDK references pre-release versions of Microsoft® TV Advanced. For information on developing for the latest versions of the platform, see the Documentation and Download sections.
