UK News: Tiny.COM Prices But Huge Value

Tiny Computers re-establishes itself as the leading consumer PC brand in the UK. Tiny Computers, the UK's best value PC manufacturer, and sister-company of Time Group Ltd. and a member of the successful Granville/Time Group, today announces its re-launch as Tiny.COM with a promise to deliver the UK's best prices on PC systems and notebooks. Tiny.COM also guarantees the use of the same make or similar high quality components as those found in leading brand competitor PCs, emphasising its aim to deliver high quality PC systems at the lowest possible prices. The site will be open for business and fully functional by the 20th February 2004.

Tiny.COM will initially launch with five key categories; home PC systems, home notebooks, power user PC systems, office/business PCs and office/business notebooks. Each of these ranges will offer the lowest prices in the UK, aiming on average to be up to 15% lower than other mainstream direct suppliers and up to 25% lower than major superstores and retailers. Unlike other 'special offer' prices offered by competitor companies, Tiny.COM promises to consistently deliver the lowest prices across its wide range of products. In reality, many products will be around 30% lower than Tiny.COM's nearest competitor!

"Tiny.COM PCs use similar make or identical high quality components as other leading PC manufacturers. Because we are constantly striving to lower our overhead and marketing costs, whilst maintaining superb quality and service, we are able to pass those cost savings onto our customers," explains Brian Trevaskiss, marketing director of Tiny.COM. "Too often large PC vendors decrease costs in favour of making a larger profit margin, or in favour of an aggressive and costly marketing campaign, often compromising on value and support," adds Trevaskiss. "Our constant low prices speak for themselves, allowing Tiny.COM to keep its advertising and marketing spend to a minimum. With no retail store overheads Tiny.COM is in an excellent position to satisfy its customers and to fulfil its promise to deliver the lowest PC prices in the UK. is determined to be consistently cheaper than anyone else. And that's our challenge to the industry."
