Windows Reliability Beta Program Sign-Up

Thanks Bink for informing me that he is in possession of a working Guest ID for the Windows Reliability Beta program. This is the same beta as we reported before only now the ID [AppTermReporting] works & you can sign-up.

The Microsoft Windows Reliability Team requests your participation in deployment of a special Windows reporting update to study Application Termination failures. All testers with 32-bit, English language versions of Windows XP, Service Pack 1, including both Home Edition and Professional, are eligible and welcome to participate. We are especially interested in testers whose computers are equipped with a broad range of applications and hardware devices. The program will begin within a few days and last for a maximum of 8 12 weeks.

The extended reporting code is essentially invisible and unintrusive. It does not execute at all until you attempt to close an unresponsive application. At that point, it gathers some additional technical information for submission using the standard Windows Error Reporting mechanism. It is important to note that the update does not call home nor does it collect any personally identifiable information without your explicit permission.
