Windows XP SP2 Concurrent Sessions confirmed

According to a news article on Cnet's news.com today Microsoft have publicly confirmed that SP2 of Windows XP will contain concurrent sessions for its terminal services allowing a user to use Windows XP at a host PC and for another user at the same time to use a Smart Display.

We reported this exclusive information almost a month ago. At the moment Microsoft are refusing to name a date for SP2 RTM or SP2 Beta. For now we only have a few alphas to look at and guess a date. According to news.com the lack of concurrent usage has been one of the chief complaints about smart displays.

At the moment we're still guessing June/July for SP2 beta.
