Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus brings BJ Blazkowicz to America

BJ Blazkowicz aka 'Terror Billy' is back, and this time, he's banging heads and killing Nazis in America. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus acts as a direct sequel to 2014's The New Order and is set a few years after the assassination of General Deathshead.

This time set in Nazi-occupied America, the new Wolfenstein game sees our Nazi-slaying protagonist trying to spark the embers of rebellion in places like Roswell, New Orleans and a post-nuclear New York with the help of a small, but growing, local resistance. A description of the title is as follows:

America, 1961. Your assassination of Nazi General Deathshead was a short-lived victory. Despite the setback, the Nazis maintain their stranglehold on the world. You are BJ Blazkowicz, aka "Terror-Billy," member of the Resistance, scourge of the Nazi empire, and humanity's last hope for liberty. Only you have the guts, guns, and gumption to return stateside, kill every Nazi in sight, and spark the second American Revolution.

The accompanying gameplay trailer shows America circa 1961 in the alternate reality of the Wolfenstein series, and features an equal parts live action and gameplay with all the cool weapons that we've come to expect from the franchise.

The New Colossus will be making its way to PC, PS4 and Xbox One later this year on October 27.
