Xbox Game Pass goes live for Gold Members, full rollout on June 1

If you've been eager to get started using Microsoft's subscription service, the time has almost arrived. Starting June 1, the service will go live for all Xbox owners, granting access to 100+ games.

It has been a few months since the announcement of Microsoft's monthly game subscription service, Xbox Game Pass. Today, it makes its debut to Gold Members, who will be getting early access to the service that will be formally launching on June 1.

If unfamiliar, Xbox Game Pass will give users access to 100+ games for the low price of $9.99 per month. This isn't a collection of old unwanted titles, but an expanded array of hits like Halo 5: Guardians, Mega Man Legacy Collection, Gears of War 1-3, and more. The selection of titles is fairly diverse, offering something for everyone. If you find yourself enjoying a game, you'll have the added benefit of being able to purchase the games you love at a discounted price.

Xbox Game Pass is now live for Gold Members who can take advantage by utilizing a 14-day trial period. If you are not a Gold Member, you'll have to wait until June 1 to activate your trial.
