You can now purchase the OnePlus 5T starting at $499

Last week, OnePlus announced its latest handset, the 5T, and gave fans a chance to interact with the unit at its event in New York. Today, it has released the smartphone for sale to the public.

After making its debut last week, the OnePlus 5T is finally making its way to retail today. While not a lot has changed when it comes to the internals, the handset offers an improved design over its predecessor, giving it a more modern look with its near bezel-less design.

If you needed a refresher, the OnePlus 5T offers:

  • 6.01-inch 18:9 1080p AMOLED display
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 835
  • 6GB or 8GB RAM
  • 64GB or 128GB internal storage
  • 16MP and 20MP rear camera, 16MP front-facing camera
  • USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack
  • Fingerprint reader

As you can probably tell, this handset is no slouch and best of all, it is priced much lower than its competition starting at $499 for the 6GB RAM, 64GB model. If you are opting for the model with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, you'll be paying a little bit more at $559. OnePlus has now made them available on its website, which you can find in the link in the source below, with shipping times at around four days out for now.
