Your Phone app arrives on the Microsoft Store for Windows Insiders to test

Earlier this week we learned that a new feature, called Your Phone would arrive in Redstone 5, the next update to Windows 10, which will be made available to consumers sometime in the fall (autumn). And now the beta app has been made available in the Microsoft Store for Windows Insiders on build 17723 or greater, which means it will not work on the April 2018 update.

Vishnu Nath, the Head of Program Management at Microsoft clarified that the app will only work on the latest Insider build of Windows 10, which is build 17728, and that only the photo sharing feature is available right now for testing.

The app weighs in at around 11MB and carries the version number version 1.0.12091.0. In addition, Nath said that the ability to send and receive text messages will arrive in a future version of the app. If you are on Redstone 5, build 17728, you can grab the app here at the Microsoft Store. For anyone that isn't an Insider, the app will fail to install.
