Tuniac is a free, lightweight media player and music library manager for Windows, designed as a fast and efficient alternative to heavier players. It features an iTunes-style library for organizing music while maintaining very low resource usage, making it suitable even for older hardware. Tuniac supports an extensive range of audio formats including MP3, AAC, FLAC, ALAC, Ogg Vorbis, Opus, WMA, APE, TAK, Musepack, and tracker formats like MOD, XM, and IT. It also handles internet radio streaming, dynamic and static playlists, ReplayGain normalization, and Last.fm scrobbling.

• Plays most popular and niche formats: common lossy (MP3, AAC, WMA, Vorbis, Opus, Speex) for everyday music playback; common lossless (FLAC, ALAC, WavPack, TAK Audio, TTA, Monkey’s Audio, Musepack, OptimFrog, Shorten) for high-quality audio; other/special (MP4, Dolby Digital AC3, DSD DFF/DFS, PCM, CDA) for professional or legacy use; tracker/module formats (MOD, MO3, XM, IT, S3M, MTM) for chiptunes and demos; and game/instrument formats (ADX, UMX, MIDI MID) for game audio and instruments.
