Announced back in May, ThinkBook is a new brand from Lenovo for small- to medium-sized businesses (SMBs). A new twist on the company's business laptop efforts, it doesn't have a TrackPoint, and it's made out of aluminum, while still maintaining some of the features that made ThinkPads great, such as a best-in-class keyboard.
The first two ThinkBooks were the 13s and the 14s. While I reviewed the ThinkBook 13s earlier this year, now the 14s is in. Priced and specced so that SMBs can purchase them for dozens of employees, it comes with a 14-inch FHD display on all configurations, and this model comes with a Core i5-8265U, 8GB RAM, and a 256GB SSD.
It also includes a fingerprint sensor in the power button, which will scan your fingerprint when you boot it up, rather than having to press it again at the lock screen. I was really impressed with the ThinkBook 13s, so this should be even better. The only thing I hated is that you can't charge it via USB Type-C.
