Lenovo Yoga Smart Tab with Google Assistant unboxing and first impressions

Lenovo's Yoga Smart Tab is a device that wears many hats. Announced at IFA last year, it's another one of Lenovo's smart display/tablet hybrids like the Smart Tab P10 that I reviewed back in May, except instead of Alexa, this one has Google Assistant. And of course, with Google Assistant comes Google services, meaning it has integration with Google Photos, Gmail, Calendar, and YouTube.

Rather than having your photos sit under a pile of thousands of memes in some digital archive, you can actually put them on display while the Yoga Smart Tab isn't being used. Google Photos automatically organizes your photos by people, places, and things, so you just pick what you want to see.

The design is different with the Yoga Smart Tab than with the Smart Tab P10 though. The P10 was just a tablet that sat in a dock. The Yoga is more of an all-in-one solution with a kickstand on the back. That also gives it a wider base, which I've actually found makes it more comfortable to hold. I think I'm going to like it a lot.
