LG's big 39-inch OLED display is now available for less than half the price

LG is offering a big 53% discount on its equally big 39-inch curved ultra-wide OLED display with a 1440p resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate.
The LG 39GX90SA-W monitor

A big ultra-wide OLED display with a high refresh rate is a good recipe for an empty wallet, but this deal from LG can actually save you over half the original price of one of its monitors. The LG 39GX90SA-W 39-inch curved display is now available for only $749.99, which is 53% less than its original price.

The monitor in question has a 1440p ultra-wide resolution (3,440 x 1,440 pixels or WHQD), a 240Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 1,300 nits, which is quite an impressive level for OLED monitors, which are famously less bright than IPS or mini LED displays. The monitor also has a refresh rate of just 0.03 ms (one of the OLED perks) and a contrast ratio of 1.5M:1.

Supported technologies include AMD's FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC (G-SYNC Compatible), which means you can get tear-free gaming regardless of which graphics card is in your computer. You also get plenty of ports, which allow you to connect multiple devices via two HDMI, one DisplayPort, or one USB Type-C. There are also two USB Type-A ports, a headphone jack, and an Ethernet port.

The monitor comes with a limited two-year warranty and dedicated OLED Care tools that protect the OLED panel from burn-in and other unwanted stuff.
