This AMD RX 9070 XT that we tested is a solid deal and you get a free power supply too

This Sapphire Pulse RX 9070 XT can drive strong 1440p and even some 4K gaming, packs efficient cooling, quiet performance, and 16GB VRAM.

Earlier today, we covered a really good gaming laptop that's also a Copilot+ PC powered by AMD Ryzen 7 and Nvidia RTX 5060. Check out the deal for under $1000 in this article. However most gamers prefer a desktop. In that case if you are looking for a 1440p desktop graphics card, the Sapphire Pulse RX 9070 XT is a very good deal at the moment (purchase link under the specs table down below).

We had reviewed this particular model back in March 2025 when it launched and found that it performs much better than Nvidia's RTX 5070, especially in general rasterization games that involve much ray tracing. Also it's 16GB VRAM means you can also run high-res texture packs on it and also do AI processing. While it's mainly made for 1440p gaming at higher settings, it is also capable of 4K gaming with some of the settings turned down. High textures should be fine again thanks to the 16 Gig buffer.

Sapphire equips the model with its Tri-X cooling system, AeroCurve fan blades, composite heatpipes, and a Free Flow cooling design intended to improve airflow and reduce turbulence. The integrated cooling module also makes direct contact with key components such as the GPU, memory, and VRMs to help maintain stable operating temperatures during extended sessions. In addition, the dual ball-bearing fan design is rated for improved durability and quieter operation compared to previous generations.
